Natural Highs – If you have ever been lucky enough to walk up Bow Fell via the Climber’s Traverse and the Great Slab, you know what it is to be truly alive! Alternatively, climb Blencathra in the mist and rain with a few mates and enjoy a Sushi lunch by Scales Tarn. Failing that, walk through a field watching the dogs round up the herd of sheep whilst you try to identify the call of some of Britain’s rarest birds. That’s the Natural Highs experience. But don’t just take my word for it.
“I enjoyed going, it helped me get fit, it was good to get to know the people who work with us and it was the highest I have ever climbed in my life. I enjoyed having a go at map reading. Looking down over the edge makes you feel dizzy, like it’s going to drag you down – it’s good though!”
Full clothing, equipment and lunch were provided by The Foxton Centre.
